Who We Are

Professional Women of Faith

Daughters of the King, professional women of faith organization started in 2008 by our founder, Cathy Ngozi Agada in answer to the “Call” to gather her friends and stand up for God.  In obedience, she called the first breakfast meeting in Dallas and gathered beautiful women as hungry as she to worship and share God’s Word.  Ever since then, DOK took off and we started meeting once a month to fellowship together.

By January 2014, after carefully seeking the face of the Lord in prayers, DOK meetings became a house-cell fellowship where sisters take turns to host our fellowship meetings. This move solidify the sisterhood and bonding. It opened the portals for meaningful and heart felt discussions on issues that affect our lives; with focuses on spiritual and physical growth, networking and sisterhood support as women after God’s heart. In addition, we added a weekly prayer-line meeting to stay connected in prayers.

In 2016, the “Call” came again for DOK to be planted in Houston, Texas where daughters can arise and shine, and stand tall for Him, our Lord and King. So in January 2017, Houston DOK was commissioned by a powerful move of the Spirit and we give God the glory that they are still standing tall.

Daughters of the King Ministries is a purpose driven ministry, also geared towards charity and mission works. We believe in helping in the community, especially for women, children, homeless and the needy (within USA and abroad). In 2016, we completed four outstanding missions which included donations and services volunteered in partnership with other non-profit organizations such as, Our-Calling, Meals-on-Wheels, Battered Women Shelters, and other international NGO outlets in Nigeria.
